The Manufacturing engineer is part of the flow team, reports to the Manufacturing Team Leader and will be responsible for improving methods, processes, and tooling to optimize production requirements and material flow in his competence lines, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods.
As Manufacturing Engineer You will:
Evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards, estimates production times, define balancing and ideal mix, define production line layouts according with lean manufacturing concepts, create, update and follow up assembly work instructions, train and support operators.
Provide an important link between shop floor personnel and engineers, being both the key resource for new products introduction projects and the production representative on Project Team Meetings.
Work on projects with both individual missions as 5S or within project teams like as new product development, taking part or full responsibility. Close interaction with suppliers of equipment, purchasing, D&D and of course, the production flow teams will be the key.
Investigate assembly tooling requirements, define specifications for new tooling and follow up on existing assembly tooling by setting up maintenance schedules.
Active participant on the Safety Committee.
Perform other duties as assigned.

1-3 years of relevant experience in a lean oriented manufacturing setting.
