Compressed air for the metalworking industry

Compressed air can be applied to several phases of a metalworking company’s production process, from ironworking and sandblasting to laser cutting and welding. It also fuels and controls pneumatic tools and transportation equipment.

Pure air guarantees a high-quality final product without any flaws. If a rotary screw compressor is enough for iron production, other production phases need filters or oil-free compressors.

Line filters and dryers remove contaminants from the ambient air, such as vapour water and dust: pure compressed air avoids possible production issues and flaws of the final metal.

Ceccato screw compressors equipped with an inverter or a permanent magnet motor are ideal for those production processes that require a variable airflow. Besides, they allow you to return on your initial investment in the first two years and reduce 10% of CO2 emissions if compared to fixed speed models.
