Atlas Copco is currently looking for a Strategic Buyer to join the Sourcing Department of its manufacturing facility Ceccato Aria Compressa located in Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza). In this position You will be assigned with certain components commodities and You will manage the Suppliers relationships in an active way, assuring that the base of selected suppliers meets and exceed the requirements in terms of sustainability, quality, price and time to deliver.
Some of Your responsibilities will be:
- Developing a network of Suppliers capable of supporting current needs and strategic goals.
- Steering Suppliers selection processes with cost analyses (based on total cost of ownership).
- Leading negotiations and negotiating supply agreements.
- Identifying product and/or process optimization, leading to cost reductions.
- Following-up suppliers performances and working on continuous improvement plans.
- Working on new Product development projects together with colleagues from Engineering department and leading Your own purchasing projects.
- In this position You will report to one of the Team Leaders Purchasing.
Experience requirements
1-2 years as a purchasing agent (strategic sourcing) in a multinational corporate environment is a plus.
Work or study experience abroad is appreciated.
Knowledge and Educational requirements
- You have a profound knowledge of Italian and English
- Preferably you are an engineer or an economic graduate with experience in manufacturing companies.
